Coremax Taiwan Corporation was founded in 1992 as a joint
venture between Swiss based SMC AG and Taiwan based Uranus
Chemicals Company Limited under the name of Chempro Uranus
Limited. In 1999 shareholders in Taiwan bought out all
the shares of the company and changed the company name
to Coremax Taiwan Corporation.
Today, our core products are Cobalt and Manganese metal-based
specialty chemicals and electronic materials. Primary
fields of application are in DMT/PTA/IPA/TMA petrochemical
catalysts, electronics, battery, ceramic, paint dryer
and rubber industries.
Coremax established the prime catalyst production line
in 1992 to manufacture a wide range of DMT/PTA/IPA/TMA
petrochemical catalysts.
As we recognize the environmental responsibility of caring
the mother earth, we developed and established the catalyst
recovery plant in 1994 to provide the regeneration service
of spent catalyst to PTA/DMT customers.
The company has become an ISO 9001 registered company
in 1996. Our certified number is FM35512.
In 2000 the company was awarded government funding by
the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economy
Affairs of R. O. C. for joint development of the "leading
products of battery materials" with Industrial Technology
Research Institute in Hsinchu.
In 2001 Coremax established a second catalyst manufacturing
plant in Kuantan, Malaysia serving customers in South
East Asia. Our third production facility in Zhuhai City,
Guangdong Province, China began operation in 2002.
In 2006, we completed our fourth
Catalyst plant in Ningbo, China to serve our customers
in Ningbo and Shanghai area. Coremax Ningbo plant
received it¡¦s ISO 9001 certificate of registration in
October 2008.
